Peter Burkhill newcomer of the year (Esporta category) and is the youngest nominee ever. The awards were held at the Grosvenor House Hotel London and in the presence of the hairdressing elite.

We were back again to Salon International 2008 in London and we had a great time. Ben Loy, Peter Burkhill and Damien Sharpe did a fantastic job with help from Becky Fairfax and Luke Newbiggin

Ben Loy wins this fantastic award at the prestigious Grove Spa & Country Club. Ben's image was voted best in this national competition. He had to produce a series of photographs showing how he created this technical look.
He began by cutting his schoolmates hair for a couple of pounds a time - he's now hoping to be a household name of the future.
Peter Burkhill has become one of the country's top stylists - and he has only just turned 18.
Peter has fought off competition from hundreds of others to be named one of just six Clynol Protégées - an award scheme which recognises hairdressing's brightest stars in the making.
